Sierra Rs Cosworth 2wd 1989

Here is my Sierra Cosworth which is the 2nd time i have owned it as i owned it from 2003-2004 (known since 2001) and then sold it to a local friend were he had it since this year when i purchased it back.

Ill be honest as i can as i don’t want any messers.

When i had this car back in 2004 it was running 340bhp now it should be running about 360-380 on relevant boost.

The car has had little use for last 5 years from previous owners due to ill health and commitments.

No MOT/Tax but did have MOT before it went off road.

Engine was fully rebuilt everything done all new big ends and little ends and rings inc new pistons clutch etc etc and only just done running in process properly at 1,000 miles at no more than 8psi boost.

Ive only just done the fully synthetic oil change and filter etc and upped the boost slightly to about 14psi

Engine is sweet as you would expect and runs and starts perfect just needs a tidy up on bodywork.

Turbo is new from A1 Rallyesport along with the Chip to match.

New cosworth Front and rear grooved Discs with New Red Stuff Pads and brand new rear callipers

Bilstein Suspension (Not coilovers ) ideal for road use.

Polybushed front ARB mounts

Gearbox is in excellent condition as was reconditioned about 3k miles ago along with the diff as i had it done on 1st ownership.

Cloth Interior in good condition

Khan RSR 17 wheels with fairly new tyres.

I have a lot of receipts with the car to prove a lot of the items.

Bad Bits

Rear wheel well has some rust on it but i was going to just cut a new one out and stick a new one in or you can patch it.

the bodywork has some marks on it front bumper lip has bubbles along with roof near sunroof.

Bodykit could so with some new clips to keep it up (comment Fault)

Dent in rear passenger door.

Boot spoiler has paint started to flake off.

Im in no rush to get rid of this as like said it still means a lot to me and i have a 3dr i can use all the bits on if i really needed to. its just since buying it and building the mk2 escort and with 3 children i can’t give it my full attentions otherwise nothing will get finished.

Dont expect to be a concours car as its not but it one of the cheapest cosworths i have seen about lately

Someone who is handy at bodywork could grab a bargain and a mint Cosworth and this running gear is worth 8k etc

Price is £4400 no offers i don’t want to swap for anything either. engine and gearbox are worth 3k+ alone.
