Honda JDM CL7 Accord Euro-R (NEW PRICE)

Here I have for sale my CL7 Accord Euro-R which I personally imported only a few months ago. I am selling it due to changes in personal circumstances, the car has only just been registered so has done few miles since being in the UK.

The car arrived in the UK in May this year and was a Japanese grade 4 meaning it is very good condition, when you see the car in person you can see this for yourself.

Here are the basic details of the car:

Year: March 2003

Mileage: 67.000 Miles

MOT: Expires end of June 2015

Tax: Expires end of January 2015 (From 1st October this cannot be transferred)

The CL7 Accord Euro-R is generally such a great car, basically an EP3 Civic Type-R or DC5 Integra Type-R with more space, practicality and a bit more refinement for longer journeys. This is a perfect car if you’re Honda mad but getting old with all the things that come with it!

Body work of this car is really nice for the year, everyone always comments on how new it looks and that it doesn’t look like a 2003 car. There are a few marks on the front spoiler and 2 of the wheels have some slight kerbing, apart for them its really tidy. No dents or major scratches. Underneath of this car is spotless, if you would like to inspect it on a ramp I can arrange that.

Interior condition is also very nice, boot and rear seat have been hardly used by the looks of it. Driver seat has some signs of wear but which his to be expected. There is a Japanese navigation system fitted but I don’t know if that can be made to work here.

Mechanically the car feels great, there are no knocks from the suspension and it handles really well on the Eibach springs and new Kumho tyres. Engine feels strong and pulls really well, this car has the RBC inlet manifold as standard so it feels torquier than EP3 Civic Type-R’s I have tried. Gearbox also shifts nicely. I know it’s a cliché but if drives pretty much like a new car.

I have had a fair bit of work done on the car and fitted some nice parts of which I have listed below. All the work has been carried out by Andrew Baird at AutoMek in Glasgow who is the best Honda specialist in Scotland.

6 Disc CD Player – This has been changed to UK spec so you can get all the UK radio stations

Work Done/Modifications:

Full service including using Fuchs Titan oil and Mugen oil filter

New Honda water pump fitted – old one was very noisy

Fast road geometry – I have the print out with settings

New Honda front and rear brake discs fitted

New Project Mu front and rear brake pads fitted – Brakes are now a lot better than the standard car

4x New Kumho KU39 215/45 R17 tyres fitted

Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs fitted – these have tightened up the handling a lot and got rid of the massive arch gaps the standard cars have! Sits perfectly now

Eibach 10mm spacers fitted all round – these have also made the car feel more stable. The wheels sit really deep in on the standard car but now look a lot better

There are very few of these cars in the UK, especially in this condition and mileage. I am asking for a very reasonable £5,750 for this car, respectfully please no low ball offers or offers of part exchanges, this is a fair price for a rare model, most other Euro-R’s are at least £1000 more
