Price Reduced as i got a little excited after a recent PH article.
I have owned the car for 18months. It took me a while to find a Silver Ep3 with air con and without a huge exhaust,Tow stickers & weird Jap Hentai Stickers etc.
As with all cars i have owned i have looked after it and always used 5w40 Synthetic oil, obviously from Opie Oils. I have also replaced the Gearbox oil and Filters as required. These were done by a local mechanic, i also have the receipts from Tegiwa/Opie for the parts. He has also given me a few stamps/receipts for it. These cars are great as they are so easy to maintain. Nothing has gone wrong with it except a faulty Air Con Compressor
The car has an aftermarket Alpine stereo with an inbuilt Parrot kit.
From being a Renaultsport owner i felt the steering/handling wasn't up to scratch. From Forum research it was best to add a Fast Road Set Up (FRSU) . I got this done by Rob at Area Motorsport, (they do a lot of Civic race cars etc, check their Facebook and site ). He is a really knowledgable chap and in the end i opted for Eibach Proline Springs , Rear ARB , Camber Bolts/Arms. Whilst the car was in there he also checked the Valve Clearances. This cost £700 and i believe it was money well worth spent. The car handles really well and the engine/gearbox is amazingly tight considering it is a ten year old hot hatch.
Summer of last year i also had to change the Air con compressor which is quite common. I also opted for EBC red stuff pads, I've never had an issue with their products and as i wasn't going on track days, they do a good job for spirited driving.
I think the car is in good condition and i have spent money on keeping it that way. Although i have modified the suspension, i don't think i have ruined the looks/dynamic of the car. If anything it is miles better.
I am not interested in any Trades and i am in no rush to sell.
