MODEL SUMMARY. Totally magnificent XJS V12 Convertible that was subject to a major high quality restoration covering drivetrain and suspension, air conditioning and electrical systems, trim, leather, carpets, hood, wheels, exhaust and bodywork, in essence everything, in 2009 and 2010, and has covered just over 3000 miles since then. Bills documenting the restoration are in the history file and total approaching £17000, but this is by no means all the bills and the total cost would have been in excess of £20000. Pre-restoration this was an excellent 3 owner example with a fully stamped Jaguar franchised service history. Upon being purchased by the last owner, he embarked on a no expense restoration to create the XJS of his dreams, and was very successful in doing so. Due to personal reasons, he part exchanged the vehicle into us around 18 months ago and we have kept it in dry storage ever since, only now bringing it to the market. It goes without saying that this is one of the finest XJS Convertibles in existence today, with a look and feel of an almost new car. Everything works as it should, and the only concession to more modern times is a high quality CD/MP3 player. The car wafts around quite regally with uncannily understressed performance from the whisper smooth V12, which is generally turning over at about 1500rpm, almost under all conditions. As with many V12s, it turns over so quickly on the starter that you would think the plugs had been removed. All original literature including owners manual, service book, leather bound wallet etc, original Jaguar toolkit and all keys are present. Totally wonderful car
