2003 Kit Cars

For sale is my project that i bought as a non-runner a few years ago. Registered as an Avelle GTA with age related plate, but car was built in 2003 by its original owner and i am only the third owner.

The car has a Net Weight of only 572Kg, with a 2.0L Renault 21 Turbo Engine & ECU.The gearbox is a Renault UN1 Transaxle (Not NG3) and i have now fitted a Genuine T34 Turbocharger.

I have fitted an Alloy Intercooler and silicon hoses for the air system from the turbo to the standard inlet manifold, and also spend hundreds on a custom copper radiator.

It has a Full Stainless 2.25” Exhaust system with brand new Cherry Bomb silencers, Double wishbone with AVO Independent Coilover Suspension all round and Ultralight Super7 Caterham Wheels and brand new tyres.

The bodywork and doors are of all fiberglass construction, sitting on a tubular steel chassis.

Ive pretty much had the car in development, whilst playing with supercharging and aftermarket ECU, but now has a good T34 Turbo from a cosworth and standard engine management with 803 injectors. It needs finishing, but has been MOT’d as it is.

I'm really sorry to have to let it go (as is my 8 year old son) but lack of time and new job forces regrettable sale. Car drives, stops and works well but needs tidying up and finishing. Anyone competent in basic mechanics will have no trouble with this as all of the engine bay is accessible with the bodywork removed at the rear.
