Lamborghini LM002

Unveiled at the Brussels auto Show in 1986 the Lamborghini LM 002 combined a utilitarian 4x4 chassis and a 5200cc, 455BHP V12 engine sourced from the Lamborghini Countach. The car featured a full luxurypackage including full leather trim, air conditioning and tinted powered windows. Lamborghini commissioned Pirelli to create the Scorpion ‘run flat’ tyres used on the car, these tyres came in two tread designs, one for Mixed road/off road use and the other for use purely on sand. These tyres were specially engineered to handle the immense speed and loads the car could generate. The car also featured a 290 litre fuel tank to enable the car to cover extended mileage between refills. In total 328 units were produced between 1986 and 1993. This particular car, which was produced in 1989, has covered 19,000km from new and is finished in Desert Sand Gold metallic with contrasting Cream leather interior and is in excellent overall condition .
