1998 Land Rover

1998 Range Rover P38 4.0 SE. 83,000 miles, FSH, 1 year's MOT and 6 months tax.

For sale, my P38. I've owned the car for over a year and it's in excellent condition, far better than the average tatty example. It has full service history (stamped books and lots of receipts), main dealer and specialist, all books, original wallet and both sets of keys. Last serviced a few months back by a local independent (coolant and brake fluid also both changed within last year).

The car is pretty much faultless (which is rare for one of these). In the last year I've had the following additional work done:

New heater o rings

Replaced faulty blend motor

Replaced two rear suspension air bags

Upgraded RF receiver to prevent battery drain

New front door latches

Rear windows professionally tinted

Lights upgraded to 2000 spec

AC blows ice cold and the car is also fitted with a Blaupunkt single din sat nav unit.

Since the photos were taken the car has had upgrade late spec rear lights and front fogs fitted (Autobiography sticker has been removed).

Bad points:

The HVAC unit has a documented software fault whereby it can forget the outside temperature and takes a minute of driving for the temperature to correct itself. Basically it means you have to wait a minute after starting for the AC to kick in as the car thinks its zero degrees outside. This has never bothered me but you could replace the unit with a second hand one off eBay if you wanted.

Had a few advisories on the MOT: Front tyres are getting close to the wear markers, power steering and brake pipes have slight surface corrosion.

Not bad for a 15 year old Range Rover!

Please note, number plate won't stay with car and it will revert to the original 'S' registration.
