1988 Lotus

Lotus Excel SE, 2.2 180bhp, it is a 1988, in mediterranean blue, full beige leather interior, 92k miles, unmolested with no major modifications, other than new carpets in blue, both door beams have been refurbished, the Master Cylinder has had all the seals replaced, it has a K&N filter and has a good Blaupunkt stereo fitted providing handsfree phone functionality, other than that a standard car.

Mechanically it is in excellent order with good cylinder pressure across all four and starts first time. Bodywork is in superb condition for a 27 year old motor, it has a couple of stone chips but I have had a can of paint colour matched by a local specialist [not gotten around to doing them yet, so could leave for you to do yourself] Everything works as it should, brakes are good, excellent wheels and tyres and handling as ever on a Lotus is superb.

It has had 4 owners, mileage verified by all previous MOT’s and a large history file, including a full RAC report carried out by that last owner before purchase. It will have 12 months MOT when purchased.
