2006 MINI

Having just taken delivery of an M135i my much loved JCW GP is now up for sale, purely due to a lack of parking space, certainly not through a lack of desire to keep it – its brilliant fun!!

The car was purchased on a bit of a whim in August 2013 after deciding to stop tinkering with my normal Cooper S and just buy the best of the breed. A quick test drive later and I was the proud owner of an immaculate Mini Cooper S JCW GP, build number 1379 in fact.

1379 is a later '56 reg model, currently on 55k miles, with 5 months mot, 5 months tax and decent Bridgestone tyres in the correct size. The bodywork is immaculate with all 4 wheels being refurbished to OEM standards in August 2013 (when I bought the car). The service history is thorough, as below:

As you can see, the car was well serviced/looked after before I bought it, benefitting from the usual servicing, as well as a new clutch at 43k miles (clutch noise is a common fault on the GP). This care continued under my stewardship and I have ensured that anything that needed replacing has been, as & when required.

Having spent over £1k on servicing/maintenance since August, this OCD approach has resulted in not only a front end suspension refresh that hand on heart, probably wasn’t required (it needed a ball joint), but two oil changes in the space of 3k miles.
