2004 BMW MINI Cooper S – Full Service History – 12 Months MOT – Enthusiast Owned

For sale is my R53 Cooper S – it is much loved and has a few choice mods to make it the perfect fast road spec. I have owned this car for three years, and have spent a not inconsiderable sum in making it my perfect R53 Cooper S. Since I have owned the car, it has been looked after by 1320 Mini.

The Good

Full Service History

12 Months MOT with no advisories (valid until 18/02/18)

1320 Lightened Flywheel and New Clutch (27/02/14)

Polyurethane Front Wishbone Bushes (27/02/14)

13.2% Reduced Supercharger Pulley (12/11/14 – made 200BHP)

Canton Race Aluminium Header tank and new Radiator (25/08/15)

Miltek Non-Resonated Cat-back exhaust (26/11/15)

Recent Premium Tyres and 4 Wheel Alignment

Recent Air-Con Re-gas (blowing ice cold)

New Battery

Two Keys, full OEM toolkit and all original hand books.

As mentioned, this car has a full and extensive service history (see pictures), and was last serviced (Service 2) at 107,928 miles. The car is currently on 113,348 miles. The car is showing 10,975 miles to the next service.

During my ownership, I have carried out a significant amount of preventative maintenance with regards to all of the known R53 common issues, this has involved a new sump, a completely refreshed cooling system (including new radiator, fan cowl, thermostat, thermostat housing and the Canton Race Header tank) etc and I have receipts/itemised invoices for all of this work, so there is absolutely nothing to worry about with this car.

As you can see from the pictures, this car has too much history to list everything, but when you come and see the car, I will provide cups of tea/coffee and a comfortable seat for you to have a look through everything and see how well cared for this car has been.

The interior is wearing its age very well, with the only two noticeable areas of wear are the driver’s side mat (not the carpet underneath, that’s fine) and a slight discolouration on the leather of the bolster on the driver’s seat (no rips or tears).

The exterior of the car is good for its age, with a few age related stone chips, but nothing major and it still polishes up exceptionally well.

The Not So Good

The wheels could do with refurbishment (they’re not terrible, I’m just fussy, still hold pressure etc) and there is a slight scratch on the rear quarter panel (I couldn’t get this to show on in any pictures, but it’s there).
