Introduction

The generation 2 997 GT3 was introduced in 2009 and yet again raised the bar for this incredibly focused car. Rated by many as the best drivers car available let alone the best 911, they are aimed at those who rate dialed-in driving pleasure above all else in the criteria for buying a sports car.

The generation 2 997 saw bhp raise from 415 to 435 along with a host of engineering and cosmetic improvements. 0 to 60 comes up in just 4.1 seconds and on to 100mph in just 8.2 seconds which is impressive performance indeed considering this cars trump card is handling. One new option available to the generation 2 was dynamic engine mounts which assist in handling the mass of the engine and gearbox when cornering.

This particular car is fitted with such engine mounts along with other items to make life with this road friendly GT3 as uncompromised as possible such as Sat Nav, Sound Package Plus and Bluetooth.

We are very pleased to have this car back in stock after supplying to a local owner who used it for 2,500 road miles.

We previously received the car from a well known sports personality we’ve known for many years. He purchased the car from a Porsche dealership at just 3,000 miles and informs us that during his ownership ( to 14,500 miles) it had never been on track and was assured by Porsche that the cars first 3,000 miles were covered on road by a customer very well known to them.

Needless to say, this car which is often referred to as the “comfort” model, has clearly been specified with road use in mind.

It is presented in extremely nice order and supported by a Porsche Service History the last of which was the major service in March 14 to include the Spark Plugs.

With the new GT3 available only in pdk format, these manual 997 GT3’s have seen values surge with availability becoming very scarce.

Condition

Exterior - The paintwork is in extremely good condition with hardly a blemish. There are a handful of very small front end stone chips which have been touched in.

Wheels – Are in top order with no kerbing.

Interior – Also in excellent condition with no wearing in the seats, carpeting or trim.
