Description

The Carrera 2.7 RS was unveiled at the 1972 Paris Auto Show. It was designed as a homologation special which allowed Porsche to race the 911 in the Group 4 GT series. Based around the 2.4 911S the engine was bored out to 2687cc which enabled the RS to achieve 210bhp at 6300rpm. Here at Dick Lovett we are thrilled to offer this fine example. With matching numbers and a Certifacte of Authenticity, this car will appeal to keen enthusiasts and is a must have for any collector. The car has spent the majority of its life in the warmer states of the USA and has been carefully maintained by knowledgeable collectors. It is accompanied by an extensive folder of history with lots of invoices for work that has been carried out over the years., S Reg
