First registered on March 11, 1987, this Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera with the sought-after Getrag G50 transmission benefits from the many improvements brought in for the 1986 and 1987 model years. It is in fine condition throughout.

In 2009/2010, Racing Restorations was commissioned to carry out a complete body restoration on the Porsche Carrera, including sills, kidney bowls, jacking points, new front wings and a glass-out respray in original Guards Red. We have restored more than 30 Porsche 911s and our work is fully guaranteed.

Soon after that bodywork was completed, the car had a complete top end rebuild done by a noted UK specialist at circa 112k miles (now on 126k). Every piece of suspension was removed from the car and completely stripped, replated or powder coated. The suspension was rebuilt with brand new bushes and Bilstein dampers. The Carrera was then set up and corner weighted by Porsche handling experts.

Note the excellent interior trim with electric sunroof, the highly desirable factory option of Sports Seats: electrically adjustable and trimmed in perforated black leather. Note also the rare and sought-after three-point rear seat belts, perfect for junior passengers. The original four-spoke steering wheel is also present and correct.

Carpets and trim are all in excellent condition. Upgraded hi-fi works well. An original 1980s car phone handset remains attached to the centre console as a period nod, but it is no longer functional. Spare wheel, compressor and Porsche tool kit are all under the bonnet.

There are no excuses to be made for this car – it is appreciably above average throughout. Offered for sale below its agreed insurance valuation, independent inspection is welcome at our premises in Pershore, postcode WR10 2DD. We will make a ramp available for your inspector.
