1986 Porsche

The 3.2 Carrera was launched in October 1983 to replace the 911SC. Power was increased to 231BHP allowing a top speed of 152mph and 0-60mph in under 6 seconds, impressive figures at the time and still very respectable today. To put this into perspective maximum speed of the Golf GTi at the time topped out at 112mph!

It was offered in Sport and non- Sport form with the latter featuring front and rear spoilers, Bilstein dampers and 16" Fuchs wheels to improve handling and high speed stability.

The example on offer here is a 3.2 Carrera Sport Coupe from 1986 and remarkably has covered just 18,000 miles with only one owner from new with all old MOTs and continuous service history to verify the mileage. Originally supplied by AFN and has clearly been cherished all its life. Finished in the classic colour combination of Guards Red with black interior, this car is totally standard and in a time warp original condition, even the tool roll is still wrapped up in its original plastic bag!
