EXTERIOR

The Alpine white paintwork on this 944 looks stunning, it almost looks like it has just rolled off the production line with no stone chips to the front of the car or the wing mirrors. The black trim on the car such as the door surrounds and rear spoiler retain their colour and are in great order complimenting the condition of paintwork. As with the rest of the car, smaller details such as the Porsche decal, badges and door handles are clean and tidy with no scratches or marks.

INTERIOR

Stepping inside the 944 it is awash with a contrasting blue interior, the seats are half leather and cloth with 'Porsche' stitched into the cloth back and base. There is no cracking or wear to any of the leather or bolsters. The blue theme continues up to the dash and centre console which are showing minimal signs of wear along with the steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake which are all in fine fettle. All of the electrics and switchgear work as they should. To the rear of the car the boot is trimmed in the same blue carpet which is throughout the rest of the car, there is also a privacy blind that hooks under the rear window which is completely unmarked and operates as it should. Under the carpet there is a space saving wheel and jack which look unused.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The normally aspirated 3.0 litre engine used in the S2 was the largest 4-cylinder engine of its time and still to this day feels well put together, firing up quickly from cold and idling smoothly. The S2 also came with a redesigned 5-speed transmission to better cope with the power generated from the engine, this helps pull the car through the gears accurately and smoothly. The engine has recently had a full service to compliment its service history.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

This 944 S2 retains its original 16" Porsche alloy wheels that have recently been refurbished and as such are in perfect condition with not a mark to be found. All four wheels are shod in matching tyres that have plenty of tread left. All of the brake discs remain in good condition as are the black Porsche brake pads which look great behind the spotless alloy wheels.

HISTORY FILE

The 944 was first registered in August 1991 and still comes with the original stamped Porsche service booklet. The car has only done 16 miles since its last service when it also had its all important timing belt changed. There are also service invoices and parts receipts in the history file to show what work has been carried out on the car.

The original Porsche document holder is still present along with all the manuals and handbooks.
