1989 Renault

74000 miles,mot'd until september, taxed until end of march. I have had the car for approximately 19 months having always wanted one since I was teenager. I spent months looking for one that was in this condition. As you can see from the pictures it is in pretty good condition and always gets plenty of attention. The interior is in excellent condition, all the bolsters have been replaced and are as new. The red carpet is bright and looks fantastic(unfortunately there are a couple of cigarette burns but are hard to spot and one is covered by the over mats.

the engine has had a few upgrades,they are as follows;

hi flow race radiator

ktr 2.5 inch performance exhaust from k-tec

lightened and balanced fly wheel from k-tec

upgraded clutch from k-tec

twin core alloy intercooler from pace products

upgraded t25 turbo

these upgrades were made before i bought the car by previous owner who wanted to bring out the best in the car and to make it more reliable,I have been told by mark fish(renault 5 gt turbo specialist in harlow essex) that it is a fine example and is running approximately 150bhp on a conservative and safe 16psi. the car has been completely reliable in my ownership and drives very well,it is also extremely punchy and huge fun to drive.

I have a huge folder full of receipts for the above parts and many many more parts that have been replaced over the years to ensure that this car has been maintained regardless of cost. I also have a bundle of mot certificates.

it was serviced before Christmas and had an oil change,fuel and oil filter change new plugs, new water pump, new starter motor, a tune up and is running fantastically,the perc fan is also running well.

The car is kept in my garage and apart from turning it over weekly I have not used it since it was serviced (and very little before) That is the reason I am selling it as it is not getting the use that I was hoping for so cant see the point in keeping it.I would rather someone else enjoy it.
