The Clio V6 really is something that leaves you with a quirky smile, and a puzzled scratch of the head whenever you think, what on earth where they made for? A generous 3.0 V6 placed in the heart of a hot hatch where the rear seats used to be, with it's legendary quick thinking rear wheel drive that will make you go from a wide smile, to sheer panic in a heartbeat. Brilliant. Not practical, not as agile as it's renaultsport 172 brother, but an icon that everybody and anybody loves. It's just pure madness in it's design and practicality, but we must thank Renault for making one of the most crazy future classics for years to come.

Exterior

Finished in the bright silver metallic only highlights the V6 Clio's unique form. It's a chunky quirky design that completely transforms the natural lines of the renaultsport clio from it's neutral hot hotch, to a bigger bully. With only 33k miles completed from new you can be assured this example is in excellent condition, which carries the presence of one that feels like it has gently rolled off the factory line. Interior

Lightly lift the driver’s latch and you will find a no frills minimalist cabin. Renault managed to create a sharp contrast with it's adventurous chunky exterior and quiet 2 seater cabin, and I think it works remarkably well. The half leather seats are still supportive and firm, bright and fresh, with the carpets and mats still surprisingly fresh and everything you'd expect from such a low mileage. The remaining interior trim has stood the test of time, and in excellent condition, all coming together to create a simple unmodified cabin.

Wheels/tyres

All four wheels are finished in striking silver and in excellent condition, with Michelin pilot sports all round.

Mechanical/history

This particular example has evidence of the all important cam-belt and water pump service completed at 32k miles, accompanied with a folder of receipts to highlight it's genuine low mileage and previous services completed, giving you future confidence this well cared for example is ready for another careful owner.
