The Clio trophy was one of only 525 models produced ( 500 for the UK market ) and this example is number 105. Finished in Capsicum Red, it immediately stood out from its peers with its anthracite alloys, Clio V6 spoiler and snug stance which was 10 mm lower than the Clio cup. Within, you had sculpted half leather / alcantara Recaro seats, but it was the suspension that gave this little hot hatch its reputation. Fitted with Sachs Racing suspension dampers, they cost about 10 times as much as the normal items and featured additional, separate reservoirs for the oil and pressurised gas a damper contains, giving you an iconic drive that is still spoken about today.

Often named as a 'Giant slayer', the Clio trophy has been known to embarrass even the most respected supercars along twisty B roads, making this one of the most sought after, collectible hot hatches today. And with only 20k miles from new, this is a guaranteed future classic.
