2013 Renault

I've owned this amazing little machine for just over a year now. I bought it as a commuter craft to offset the mileage and fuel bill on my C63. As I no longer need to commute, the Twizy is now kind of redundant.

I searched around a fair bit when I started looking for one of these and I also drove a few before settling on this one. It felt the most solid of all those I drove and was in the best overall condition. The added bonus with this car is the custom paint job in Renault Liquid Yellow and Black which makes it look fantastic.

These cars really are special, it's like the MX5 to those who haven't driven one (looks a bit girly but is infact amazing fun). Because it's electric, the acceleration from 0-30 is quicker than most cars with instant torque. It tops out at 57mph, takes 3 hours to charge through a normal electrical socket (about 45 miles range at best) and costs around £1. Due to RenaultSport suspension, low weight, very low centre of gravity (battery is underneath you), disc brakes all round, central driving position, RWD and so on it corners and stops like a go kart.

The car comes with full service history and it's in very good condition as it's been garaged under a cover since I bought it. It un-suprisingly hasn't put a foot wrong and wants for absolutely nothing. It's one of the most reliable forms of transport in existence. If you know anything about these cars you'll know that servicing is included in the warranty (runs out March 2017) and its next service is due end of March. I thought the new owner could take it to a dealer rather than me doing it...not the simplest thing in one of these depending on distance!

Viewing is most welcome as are any questions for those thinking of trying this truly unique mode of transport. Whoever buys the car, depending on distance will need to trailer it away..bear that in mind.
