2002 Saab

I’m the third owner of this car.

The first owner had it for 10 years and spent over £20,000 on upgrades. The second owner had it for 3 years and spent over £4500.

In my ownership I’ve spent around £1000 having the underneath waxoyled, the wheels aligned, a new battery and new Goodyear Eagle F1’s.

I’ve had the car since March a 2015 and only used it on nice weekends. It's a second car as I’m a bit of a Saab fan and have a 9-5 as my daily car.

I love the 9-3 to bits but unfortunately a change of circumstances means I need the garage space so it will have to go.

When I bought the car I took it my local Saab specialist to be checked over and they told me that to their knowledge the car is unique. They said the car has been modified with all the things that they would have used. They are Maptun dealer so they know their stuff.

The car was supplied new in 2002 by Roseisle Motor Company, a Saab main dealer.

Since the installation of the T7 engine the car has been run solely on Royal Purple 5W-30 synthetic oil.

The car was set up by Frederik from Maptun in March 2012 where it was developing 319.7 bhp at the wheel at 5500 rpm. This equates to just over 360 bhp at the crank.

Max torque was 447.9 Nm at 4000 rpm.

The car has outrageous performace but also amazing economy - on a 117 mile run recently which was a mixture of motorway, A road and country lanes and with an average speed on the journey of 58 mph the car returned an unbelievable 48mpg! I’ve included photos of this with the advert.

I’ve previously owned 2 Viggens and I honestly believe that this is the car that the Viggen should have been when it came out!! It handles beautifully and pulls like an express train.

The only reason I’m selling it is because I need the garage space to store my pro kart as we’ve lost the garage it currently lives in.
