Description
Well the time has come to let her go as all she seems to do is sit in the garage. Just had a new MOT and it's only done 700 miles in the last year!
The car is 1024/1000 which Prodrive have confirmed is the last of the 1000 made - someone at Prodrive was superstitious so there are no model numbers with '13' in them.
The car is a 2001 on a 'Y' and has had extensive modifications and is now running 401 bhp / 360 lb/ft. Full MOT but the car is now SORN so would need taxing.
Full service history, originally by main dealers but more recently this car has been built and maintained by ScoobyClinic. Last service was December 2012 but the car has done less than 700 miles since then.
Modifications include:
Full rebuilt engine by ScoobyClinic in July 2008
Hybrid FMIC
Lateral performance MD321H turbo
Lateral performance headers plus up pipe
Haywood & Scott downpipe
Revolution turbo-back 3" exhaust
740cc injectors
Bosch fuel pump
K&N cone filter
Samco intake pipe
Exedy twin plate clutch kit
Exedy lightened and balanced flywheel
Simtek mafless ECU
The car has also benefitted from the ScoobyClinic gearset which is still a 5 speed box but is uprated for the extra power.
Full K Sport big brake kit fitted, 8 pots on the front, 6 pots on the rear. EBC Yellowstuff pads fitted all round
Anti-lift kit and uprated droplinks
60mm DEFI guages in white - oil pressure, oil temp and boost
DEFI 2000 triple pod holder
Wheels were professionally refinished last year and are therefore immaculate
All tyres are good with plenty of life left
Full Prodrive car mats including boot
There is a folder full of all receipts, MOTs, manuals, photos etc. The history with this car is something else!
The car is in good condition all round, although there are a couple of bits that could do with painting - the front bumper is a bit chippy and the rear spoiler has a couple of bits of paint missing, both are the size of a ten pence coin.
There is also a scratch on the drivers side rear quarter panel which is too deep to polish out and so would need a smart repair. These are things i've been meaning to get done but never using the car, have never got round to it. Mechanically the car is great and I have never had any trouble with it.
The car is know on the P1 owners forum (www.P1WOC.co.uk), having previously been owned by other forum members. These are getting more rare by the minute and are bound to start appreciating soon. Unfortunately I need the money to buy my new toy.
Any questions please ask and if you want any more photos then let me know.
