2005 Suzuki

With low mileage, in very good condition and with a FULL service history, this car was far and away the best family-sized 4x4 I could find over 2 years of looking.

You know when you see an advert and instantly feel that this one will be "right"?That was this car, it was so good I had to buy it, even though I'm not a fan of the colour!

If you're looking at this advert, you probably already know that while this car drives pretty much the same as a regular SUV style car, it's got a proper 4x4 chassis living underneath and will take you most places you'll ever need to go if you ask it.

I was previously commuting to work by motorcycle and bought this car mainly for the winter. However I've had a bike crash recently and won't be riding anymore, so my 4x4 is now up for sale.

The good:

This car is in great condition all round. I usually buy cars around this budget and I've never had one so tidy and with such low miles as this.

It has a full service history - and it's what I call a FSH, rather than the version you usually find at dealers!

The best thing about this car is that it all just works.

The air-con works, the radio works, the seats work (including the height adjusters), central locking works, electric windows work, heated mirrors work.

The transfer box shifts happily between 2wd and 4wd High and Low and it does what it should in each.

The tyres are all OK too.

I've put some uprated Philips bulbs in the headlights as I did find them a little weak to start with.

The bad:

The luggage cover is tatty. This didn't worry me as I don't use it, but it is the worst thing I'm aware of on the whole car.

The mileage will increase a little as the car is in daily use.
