VAUXHALL MONARO V8 2004

My silver Monaro CV8 is for sale.

I have owned this car for 7 years and will be sorry to see it go. I have had lots of fun whilst driving it and now it is time for somebody else to enjoy the experience.

The car has a full Vauxhall service history the next one is due in March 2015. It has an MOT until May 16th 2015 and tax until the end of February 2015.

Work has been done to the car by Monkfish Performance, near Milton Keynes, who did a Wortec Essential remap increasing the BHP from the standard 333BHP to an approximate 380BHP.

The brakes have also been uprated with Monaro VXR calipers again fitted by Monkfish Performance and DBA discs were fitted by me approximately 2 years ago. New yellow stuff pads were fitted a few hundred miles ago.

The exhaust system has also been updated to a X Force system which makes a lovely V8 sound, unlike the original system.

The car comes with standard leather seats, 6 CD multi changer, climate control, cruise control and factory alarm. In addition two new Khumo tyres have just been fitted to the rear wheels. The front Khumo's still have plenty of life.

This car is one of the early big boot models and the tax disc is only £280 per year. Later models are nearly double that. I have achieved 30mpg on a run at 70ish MPH, but usually get an average of 24 with a mix of driving.

The car is 10 years old, it does have few stone chips on the bonnet. The bodywork otherwise is in excellent condition. I have kept the car garaged almost all of the time I have owned it. It has rarely been out in the rain and especially not out in the rain in the winter. The wheels were refurbished a few years ago, but now have a few small marks. The interior is in excellent condition with Vauxhall floor carpet mats fitted all round.

I have all of the glove box Vauhall books, including the service book, all of the paperwork and receipts for work done and finally two original keys.
