The car was bought new by its first owner from AFN VW Isleworth on 16/12/94. The original documents of sale are present in the service history. The second owner bought the car from HWM VW Walton-on-Thames on 11/12/00 at 16,973 miles. The sales receipt and warranty documents are present in the service history. I bought it from the second owner. When I purchased the car I put the number plate K7XBX on, replacing the original 'M' issued plate. The second mature owner was a long term Corrado Club of GB member, as am I. It has only ever been registered to the Surrey area, where the two previous owners and myself all live.

Everything on the car works including the active Rear Spoiler, Electric Sunroof (on slide & tilt), Heated Front Seats, Ventilation System ( on all settings/speeds) & ABS Braking System. The bodywork is virtually as new, aside from a few tiny stone chips on bonnet and a tiny scratch on passenger door which has barely broke the paintwork. There are no dents, dings or rust anywhere on the car. The interior is even more pristine if anything. The drivers seat has no signs of wear, no scuffs or abrasion. It exhibits a few light creases commensurate with the extremely low mileage covered. The other three seats look like they have never been sat in. There is not a mark on the interior and it really is pristine.

Specification of the Car:

The car is virtually standard as it left the factory. The original First Aid Kit, Warning Triangle & Battery Jacket are all still in-situe. The only upgrades that have been made are subtle additions to keep the OEM look and feel, as follows:

-BMC CDA Carbon Induction Kit (fitted one month ago). Sounds spine tingling!

-Alpine CD Tuner Head Unit (green illumination to match dash lights)

-JL Audio Door Speakers & very subtle JL Audio Tweeters also fitted in Mirror Housings. The sound is exceptional compared to the standard set up.

-Clifford Concept500 (Cat 1) Alarm System with total closure.

-Private Number Plate (my lucky number is 7, plate also a tribute to my hero Donald Campbell-his most successful boats code name)

-OEM look Cup Holder in lieu of Rear Ashtray.The Ashtray is also present to refit.

-Front Windscreen Wipers Upgrade, VW Lupo parts used. Vast improvement.

-Bosch Heavy Duty Battery.

The tyres are excellent condition all round:

Basically the car has only ever seen a VW Main Dealer for servicing and any work required. If you look through the service history you see that if work was recomended or advised it has been done immediately. As a result the car drives perfectly and feels like a 2 year old car when it is intact approaching 20 years old! A credit to its fastidious previous owners. They, like me only ever ran it as a second car keeping it garaged and pampering it.

The major benefit of this car ( as you can see from the service history I have provided) is that it has a reasonably equal spread of mileage covered over the 19+ years. It has never been sat around for long periods of time/years like many ultra low mileage cars. It has always been on the road, just not used daily. It has averaged around 3000 miles per year since new at Christmas 1994.

The car drives faultlessly, there are no rattles or squeaks and it feels very composed on our appalling UK roads.

A very rare car in an even rarer colour combination with a lovely history. It gets lots of positive attention everywhere it goes. A great ownership proposition. Cars such as this example will only appreciate in value.
