Enthusiast owned for over 5 years, taken from standard. During this time I have modified the car in order for it to still keep up with modern ones both in power and comfort, while trying my best to keep the original look. The car won 1st place at the Corrado Club of Great Britan (CCGB) National Day 2014 and 1st place Corrado at GTI International 2014. Not for the faint hearted - savage, relentless power with a deceptive look to match

Engine & Exhaust:

Stealth Racing Stage 1+ VR6 Turbo supplied and fitted in 2013 (T04s Turbo – 0.70 cold, 0.68 hot) – complete engine (including chains), gearbox, cooling and exhaust overhaul including Schimmel 263 cams, Quaife Limited Slip Differential, ARP forged bolts, FMIC, Helix Organic Clutch, Mocal oil cooler, Vibratechnic mounts and a custom straight through exhaust system. Car is mapped to Shell V-Power Nitro+. Please contact for full breakdown of parts – thousands spent and a similar conversion will cost around £10,000. Power was dyno’d at 425bhp & 433lbft @16psi. Stealth Racing are arguably the best VW tuning specialists in the UK, and are not cheap. This conversion has been done professionally and at great cost, please do not compare this to any other home DIY builds! Everything has been looked at, and all preventative measures taken with only the best parts used.

The Chains were done with the Turbo (having already been previously done at 75k, and the heater matrix had been replaced when I fitted the dashboard

Wheels, Suspension & Brakes:

5x Genuine BBS CH006 8.5x17 ET35 5x100 on 205/40/17 Falken FK452 tyres. The wheels are very rare in this fitment, and no adapters or spacers have been used.

KW V2 Height & Dampening adjustable coilover suspension with new top mounts

Tarox 323mm 6-Piston floating calipers, discs and pads all with lots of life left

Interior & ICE:

Interior has genuine Corrado electric Recaro seats retrimmed in Porsche nappa leather. Dashboard has trimmed to match seats and houses a top of the range Pioneer Double-din head unit (AVIC F950DAB) with Sat Nav, DVD player and Bluetooth audio (all run through Alpine components). Front twin cup holders. Laserline 2>1 alarm system fitted in 2012.

Bodywork:

Bodywork generally in great condition, and polishes up very nicely. Some stone chips and a bit of bubbling around one edge of windscreen and a small bubble around rear screen. Sunroof tilts but doesn’t slide (common Corrado issue). Plastics could do with restoring (roof strips) . One annoying area that I never got round to replacing is the separate rear license plate bulb surround - it looks pretty manky but can easily be swapped for a fresh one if you get the part.

Car has just passed its MOT, and had a wheel bearing, hubs/CVs and driveshafts repaired/replaced to the tune of £600 and now drives brilliantly. This car has been my pride and joy, and never fails to turn heads or get lots of attention wherever it goes. This car can be driven sedately or in anger - just be warned that this car is VERY fast! It has been mapped brilliantly, and cruises at 70mph off boost, where you can avg around 28mpg. I have owned nothing but Corrados as my "fun" cars since 2007, so I am looking for a change.

With a sale you'll get a couple of spare bits and pieces as well, I have some spare interior plastics, red rear lights and a new gear knob. All in all, yes this is priced a lot higher than your usual Corrado, but if you were to try and replicate this car then you would easily spend 3x my asking price...

I could be interested in a PX with cash either way for something interesting and quick (doesn't have to be as quick as this). Please note I already have a diesel daily so won't be looking for anything too sensible. I'm open minded, although a straight sale is my preference
