1999 Volvo

Laser Blue with lots of new parts including wicked brakes, Volvo exhaust (cost £1100), rear shocks, radiator, alternator and battery. Tow bar fitted and used once (honest!) Drives and handles beautifully. There are (new) cosmetic scrapes in 3 corners due to a small garage and it uses a little bit of coolant occasionally. FM on the radio is intermittent though AM always works, 3 CD changer works very well as does the air conditioning (really cold) . Occasionally the ABS light comes on as does the engine management light, but then they go out again……It judders a bit for the first 30s after starting though starts very reliably and runs beautifully smooth after 30s: may be plug or cold start valve. Priced to sell because I have a new Landrover Defender and an old Porsche 928 and don't need a Volvo any more, even a relatively exciting one. Sold with immaculate original R wheels with well worn Zero Neros though currently running fairly new Michelin Pilot winter tyres on later V70 alloys which are for sale separately at £300. The traction with these on cold wet roads is truly astounding!
