2007 Westfield

Bought as a complete kit (minus engine) in 2002. The engine and wiring loom were taken out a complete low mileage (5000 miles) one owner 1999 Suzuki Hayabusa which we bought at the same time as the kit.

The build was completed in 2007 and submitted for its SVA test at Leighton Buzzard VOSA centre and passed first time and was subsequently issued with a 57 registration plate.

For the next 3 years the car was used on the road but since 2010 the car has been SORN'd and used exclusively for track days.

Having enjoyed track days for the last 6 years my focus has now shifted to circuit racing and the Westfield is now surplus to requirements,

Brief summary of car.

Car purchased, built and exclusively owned by me.

Genuine Westfield Mega chassis.

Very desirable specification with all the sought after modifications.

Lightweight bodywork (standard Megabusa) with numerous carbon fibre upgrades.

Less than 6000 miles covered.

Used extensively on tracks since 2010 and upgraded to suit with a full roll cage, 3" 4 point harnesses, fire extinguisher, upgraded exhaust and airbox to allow the car to run on tracks with tighter noise restrictions.

Engine and gearbox refreshed by Extreme Engineering less than 100 miles ago.

Engine and drivetrain.

Low mileage (5000 miles when removed from bike and a further 5806 miles in car) 1999 Suzuki Hayabusa engine recently completely stripped and rebuilt (including gearbox) by Extreme Engineering.

SBD dry sump and clutch slave cylinder.

(The advantage of the SBD dry sump over a belt driven dry sump set up is the oil pump is driven by the exciting water pump drive and none of the risk of a belt failing and losing oil pressure)

The dry sump and oil cooling system (including Setrab oil cooler) has been plumbed in

with -12 braided hoses and JIC/UNF fittings.

Full Simpsons Race Exhaust system including fully repackable (with removable Catalytic converter) 7" silencer.

Davis Craig electric water pump.

(The complete cooling system has been installed using copper pipe work and quality silicone hoses.

Westfield reverse gearbox.

Freelander Limited Slip Differential.

This is a very presentable track focused Westfield Megabusa which has proved to be very reliable but could equally be used on the road once again, having built and owned this car for over a decade it is time to sell it to fund my racing career and also to allow someone else the opportunity to enjoy the car as much as I have.
