Continuing their race to have a full set of mods ready before the car is even launched, German tuners 9ff have released further sketches of their planned tuning package for the new Porsche Panamera.
The initial sketches we showed you back in September kicked up as much of a storm as the official video of the Panamera from earlier this week, and we expect these new pics to inspire no less controversy.
Russian website Cardesign.ru reports that 9ff will team up with two Russian tuning companies to produce a full aesthetic and mechanical package for the portly Porker. 'Top Car' and 'Cardi' will work on the bodywork, whilst 9ff themselves sort out the suspension, engine and transmission.
Of course, without total certainty of the production model's specs, at this point 9ff and co are still having to hedge their bets. The only details released so far concern the bodywork modifications, and we're told that there will be 2 distinct packages available. The basic kit will just change the bumpers, add side-skirts and bespoke alloys, and put in a flashy new bonnet. The comprehensive package will be more drastic, replacing every external panel on the car except for the roof.
Whilst these sketches are certainly no masterpieces (understatement..?), they do suggest that 9ff have managed to make some improvements to the Panamera's somewhat unusual proportions. We'll have to wait and see whether between them, these three tuners can make a silk purse out of a... er... Panamera.
