PH has been proud to be involved with Caring With Cars since the very first one. This year's event will be held on
at Downs School in Bristol between 10:00 and 16:00. Best of all, it's run by PHers for PHers.
The event raises funds for Children's Hospice South West; it's a relaxed and picturesque private event near Bristol, purpose built for PHers and other invited enthusiasts. We're really pleased to be involved with such a worthwhile event which helps make a massive difference to so many.
In 2011 and 2012 Caring With Cars raised £5,400 and £8,000 respectively for the charity, which provides care for over 1,000 seriously ill children and their families. The event makes a huge difference to a lot of lives.
Attractions on the day include:
- Live band
- Large raffle of petrolhead and other prizes
- Auction of larger prizes
- Showcase area of interesting cars
- Expert speakers giving talks in the theatre
- Great (affordable) food and drink
- Kids activities
There are over 400 vehicles attending so far and the Armed Forces Rally Team are bringing one of their rally Land Rovers. There's also three drag bikes, drag cars, supercars, 1935 Le Mans Frazer Nash, concours RS200, grass track speedway bikes, XJR15 and new XKR-S GT, Lotus 11 so something for everyone.
The event wouldn't be possible without:
