Lots of manufacturers are keen to trade on heritage now, and Alfa has a stunning back catalogue of sports cars to draw upon. So whilst its carbon fibre tub and turbocharged four-cylinder engine make the

1967 33 Stradale inspired 4C's lines says Alfa
The 33 Stradale of 1967 is cited by Alfa as a spiritual forebear to the 4C, sharing its size, layout and dimensions. Alright, it's not a recreation and those headlights do spoil the front, but the 4C and 33 Stradale aren't far apart in the style stakes, and credit must go to Alfa for that.
