There's usually a furious office debate around Pic of the Week contenders, the merits of each image debated until their advocates are blue in the face (or in need of another tea). Not so this week.
With the news that the Nordschleife has now named a corner after Stefan Bellof, a picture of the great man in his 956 met with unanimous approval. What used to be 'Pflanzgarten three' is now the Stefan Bellof S, a fitting tribute to the man whose Nurburgring lap record is 30 years old this year.
There's little more that can be said in praise of Bellof, and it remains surprising that an appropriate tribute has taken such time. But all of us at PH are glad it was late rather than never, and allows us our own celebration of a fantastic racer once more.
