, Toyota really has shocked Detroit. That occurs very seldom.
It may not be conventionally beautiful but it is distinctive and unashamedly demands attention. If the FT-1 in any way previews a future Supra, it bodes very well indeed. Imagine the Supra versus NSX versus GT-R rivalry reignited for the 2010s...
And though it'll be a while before you can drive it - or anything like it - you can already download the FT-1 and enjoy it in virtual form in Gran Turismo 6, from where we've taken our POTW. Virtual or real, it's a real stunner.
