is a rather lairy car on tarmac. But the good kind of lairy, the type created by a surfeit of power, great balance and a limited slip-diff. It drifts beautifully, infinitely adjustable on the throttle and with steering that provides all the information required.
On ice, those attributes are all the more relevant and enjoyable. Third gear at about 40mph, perhaps even less, should do it. A bit of extra throttle once turned in and the C63 will be out of shape for as long as the corner continues. Or it drains the tank. It makes the driver look like a powersliding hero, and feels superb.
So POTW had to pay tribute to the 507's silliness. The temptation was to feature a G63 AMG but, in all honesty, most of those pictures were of it understeering. That's not something the C-Class does an awful lot.
