If Lamborghini's product plan sticks to the current strategy, its next model will be the Urus SUV. So the arrival of
the Huracan LP610-4
is really quite exciting, even if it's not entirely without fault.
Furthermore, Lamborghini supercars tend to have a 10-year life cycle, meaning the Huracan's replacement likely won't make its debut until the 2020s. Will it be powered by a 5.2-litre V10 revving to beyond 8,000rpm? If it does, the internal combustion engine won't be the sole means of propulsion. This could be the last N-A Lamborghini supercar.
Therefore a place as Pic of the Week is more than justified. Moreover, as we've done white before, seen yellow at motor shows and driven a green LP610-4, orange was the logical. Yes, it would be nice to see oversteering at Ascari rather than ambling round but there we go. Hardly terrible, is it?
