'Original Fanboy' is an appropriate title for the latest Petrolicious video. Having convinced his parents to buy a Civic back in the 70s, Christopher Hoffman was hooked on Honda. His first new car was a CR-X Si back in 1987 and it's been his ever since through 109,000 miles.
It's been the stereotypical Honda too. A revvy engine, sweet shift and a model of reliability; it's still on the original exhaust, has always started and Christopher has only ever replaced two light bulbs. Amazing if true!
And the CR-X looks brilliant. Sure, the US-spec lights don't really do the little Honda coupe many favours but the fundamental proportions are great; diminutive but with a certain presence and most definitely Japanese.
Wonder if anybody will be doing the same with a CR-Z in the 2030s?
