A little while ago Subaru confirmed a price cut
for the BRZ
. But it was only on the SE Lux version, meaning the BRZ started at £24K rather than £25K. It was good rather than brilliant news.
Time for a great deal on a used BRZ?
Now Subaru has decided to reinstate the BRZ SE and also also applied the £2,500 discount, meaning a manual BRZ is £22,495. A GT86 is £25,110. Interesting... The official line is that 'Subaru UK has expanded its range of affordable BRZ sports cars' and the cars are available in dealers this month.
It will be intriguing to see what this price cut does for BRZ used values. Most in the PH classifieds are the SE Lux models but this standard 2013 BRZ has covered 2,000 miles and is £25K. There's some negotiating power for you now!
Moreover, a saving on list price opens up additional funds for a bit of aftermarket fettling. We'll hope to try a Cosworth BRZ soon and establish if the upgrades are money well spent, but £2,500 would be a very useful kitty to begin with.
