As you may have heard, our rather superb private camp site at the 24H has already sold out (thanks to all of you who booked nice and early). However, we do have a few spaces left on the private site for the Classic, taking place from July 4-6. The site at the Classic offers all the luxury, security and convenience available at the 24H meaning it's (in our opinion) the only way to camp. Here's what's included:
- Site-only Wi-Fi. While relaxing you can post on PH to your heart's content and show your Facebook friends what they are missing. Internet on a campsite? The best of both worlds, surely.
- There is secure fencing around the entire camp, with 24-hour security patrols and access only granted to campers and authorised cars.
- We have private toilets and showers with full-time cleaners on site too. Don't queue for a dirty shower ever again.
- The campsite also features a private marquee with a bar, live coverage of the race, phone charging points and indoor and outdoor seating areas.
- Because we're in France, fresh daily bread orders will take with deliveries early every morning (tell us what you want and we'll get it). There's fresh coffee too.
- Our pitches are marked out and reserved. No need to rush, as your pitch will be waiting whenever you arrive. Standard pitches are marked out at 3.5m x 10m and a small number of larger pitches are available at 5m x 10m.
- We have our own water and waste facilities and, best of all, you know you are camping with other PHers (including the PH team). That means it's friendly, relaxed and idiot-free.
For more information on remaining spaces and packages available simply email Brian at 1st tickets on info@1st-tickets.co.uk and he'll look after you from there.
For those of you with trips already booked, don't forget we have the famous Friday Service at the 24 and the traditional Classic meet at La Bounty. At the 24 we have a large area near the Porsche Curves with gates opening at 12.00 and staying open through to 17.00. It's therefore a relaxed affair with no rush to arrive as soon as the gates open. On site we'll have an outside bar serving draught beer and soft drinks as well as a large BBQ for burgers (because every Le Mans meal must consist of meat between bread). For the Classic we'll be over at La Bounty where there's parking aplenty and the owners will be serving delicious pies for lunch along with draught London Pride. Both are events not to be missed so make sure you get signed up for the Classic and 24 meets as soon as possible.
Nearer to the event we hope to launch a range of competitions for those heading France and, of course, we'll be telling you more about our great range of Le Mans T-shirts and stickers too.
Nous ne pouvons pas attendre d'arriver à Le Mans, les sites, les odeurs, la saucisse rouge et le faible grondement de techno néerlandais. Rendez-vous là-bas.
