Have fun on the way to Le Mans
Are you a petrol-head who thrives on the thrill of the race? Do you want to feel what it's like to be a racing driver, experiencing an intense endurance test like no other driving challenge?
If so, the Le Mans Driving Challenge could be what you need. And it's all in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital children's charity
The GOSHCC Le Mans Driving Challenge is a unique event designed to test your navigational skills through the night. Taking place from 16-19 June 2005, it's described as a one-of-a-kind driving adventure, starting at one of the great homes of British motor sport, Brands Hatch in Kent and finishing at Le Mans, arriving in plenty of time to rest before watching the most spectacular of all endurance motor races, the 24 Heures du Mans.
Driving late into the night, through the winding streets of France, challenge your map-reading skills via mystery checkpoints within a set timescale, aiming to finish with the lowest possible mileage. This is a test of navigational skills, not speed.
The entry fee per team (driver and navigator) is £440 with additional team members travelling at £220. Each team is asked to raise a minimum of £1,000 for GOSHCC in addition to their entry fee.
