Shocking waste of public money
A joyrider in a dumper truck has left a trail of destruction, which, shockingly, including three speed cameras in Walton Road, near Wetherby.
The driver took four hours for his bizarre destruction derby, which included gates and crops destroyed, and horses released.
Taken from A1 roadworks, the truck was later abandoned near Wetherby Racecourse. There's no sign of the miscreant yet but the dumper truck has been returned to its owners.
The speed cameras have not.
