Stunt driving all part of the show
Knockhill circuit is to host what it described as "Scotland’s new live interactive motoring show" this weekend, 7-8 May 2005.
Designed to have family appeal, there's a kids zone with bouncy castles to magic shows, along with the possibility of under 17s winning a lap driving Knockhill in a Mini Cooper.
For the rest of us, live stunt shows will run in the stunt zone over the whole weekend, free for all to see with Freestyle Supercross, The Paul Swift Stunt Driving Show, the 250 Car Club and Motoskool and Charlie Shaw will be proving how well he can handle a 480bhp Focus Cosworth. There will be helicopter rides too, for £15 a pop.
Cars on display include the Mercedes SLR, a Morgan Super 8 Lightweight, a Ferrari F430, Chevrolet World Touring Car and Maserati GranSport Coupé. There are free track rides available in several cars, free 4x4 rambles, and free skid pan demos.
