Destinator PN

New navigation software Destinator PN is now on sale. It runs on handhelds running Windows Mobile 2003, and is said by developer Destinator to be better than its predecessor, "making mobile navigation simpler, more effective and flexible."

No activation of the software or map needed
Plug and Play
Includes text-to-speech. In future, this optional feature will also give complete road names (such as, “Turn right into Cambridge Street”)
Covers all of Europe
Includes Home Button, allowing the user to navigate to a pre-determined destination such as their home or office address
Includes a walking mode for navigation on foot.
More configurable user interface
3D-view optimised to reduce non-relevant detailed information to a minimum
Touch screen operation -- no need for a stylus
Dynamic routing via TMC
Phone support means you can text your location to any other mobile phone

Destinator is available now and costs £99.99, or for North America + Route USA, £109.99, both single user licences.

Destinator PN comes as a pre-installed memory card or as a complete bundle including GPS receiver and accessories. Owners of previous versions can get an upgrade to Destinator PN for £59.99.
