|
Alfa Romeo's new sports car, the Brera, is to make its UK debut public appearance at the Festival of Speed later this month.
The Brera, described by PH as 'drop dead gorgeous', made its international public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. On the weekend of 24-26 June, it is part of a star-studded cast of classic Alfas from the Italian sporting car maker's museum at Arese, near Milan. Many have never been seen in the UK before, and some will be participating in the FoS hill climb.
The Alfa Romeo line-up includes:
- P2
- Fangio’s Grand Prix championship-winning 159 Alfetta
- 8C 2.9 Le Mans
- 33 Le Mans
- 1750 Gran Sport
- 6C 2300B
- 24hp
- Sportiva 2000
- Disco Volante Coupe and Spider.
Alfa Romeo will also be showing its replacement for the 156, the new 159 which makes its international media debut in Bavaria next week.
The Alfa Romeo 159 is expected to go on sale here at the end of the year, with the Brera following in 2006.
