Sources inside Aston Martin appear to have confirmed PistonHeads' guesstimate of the upcoming V8 Vantage's price. It will be £79,995, according to a story in Autocar.
That's over £20,000 more than Porsche's entry-level 997, the Carrera Coupe, and £7,765 more even than the higher specced 911 Carrera S Cabriolet's £72,230 price tag.
Apparently, early buyers must pay an additional £1,695 for the compulsory options of leather and 19-inch alloys; the whole book full of options will add some £10,000.
