If you want to monitor your speed or lap time, it would appear that you can do so with your phone -- provided it's a Nokia Series 60, that is.
Tempes has released GT, a program for Series 60 mobiles that uses a Bluetooth GPS receiver to measure your car's top speed and acceleration (0-100 km/h and 0-400 m, or 0-60 mph and quarter mile).
The company said its software was also useful for navigation, giving direction and distance to any set destination.
