Caterham R300 to be won for £20

There's a new limited ticket competition on the block with the aim of helping you win a sports car for just £20.

2000tickets.co.uk is a new limited ticket competition which offers a choice of six sports cars from an exclusive two thousand-ticket draw, with a fixed ticket price of £20. On its secure website, the organiser offers what it called "the only totally online competition of this kind, and are therefore offering better odds, at a better price to give everyone a realistic chance of owning a dream car."

The six choices of vehicle range from the svelte Mercedes SLK 200 to the raw Caterham 7 R300. Other cars to choose from are the BMW Z4 2.2i, the Lotus Elise 111S, the Subaru Impreza WRX and the Honda S2000.

The scheme sees itself as being in competition with the likes of Bestofthebest, which can be found airside at airports, raffling off cars such as the Aston Martin DB9. However, you have to go airside for that, and the tickets can cost £60 or more. "The airport draw tickets are either more expensive or there are more tickets in each draw", said 2000ticket's director Peter Heppenstall.
