Mazda has announced pricing for the all-new MX-5 which goes on sale in the UK from November.
It will cost from £15,600, up to £18,900 for the top-end model. The entry-level 1.8-litre 124bhp model is priced at £100 more than the current 1.8i, the 2.0-litre 158bhp model starts at £16,600, while the 2.0-Sport is priced at £18,900; the two-litre version costs £900 more than the current 1.8i Sport.
Glass's Guide reckoned that the MX-5 will feature strong residual values. Forecasts by Glass's for the outgoing model suggest that the 1.6i with option pack will retain 40 per cent of its price after three years, while the 1.8i derivative will retain 41 per cent.
