Nice tip if you can get it
Work hard, look good -- and win yourself a Porsche.
That at least appears to be one interpretation of an extraordinary event this week, when a restaurant customer tipped his waitress with his Porsche 924. Maybe he was finding it hard to sell, but 19-year-old Josefin Justin was working at a diner in Njurunda, in Sweden, when she served a man who was celebrating his retirement with friends.
On paying, he told her that her tip would be his Porsche. He gave her his phone number, she called him the next day, they met and he handed her the keys.
"It needs to be fixed up a little bit, a coat of paint among other things, but we checked it out and everything about it was fine mechanically," Justin said.
The customer, who asked to remain anonymous, told the Aftonbladet newspaper that he did not know why he gave the waitress such a handsome tip.
"I was just sitting there in the restaurant and looked her in the eye and saw an angel," he said. "I thought to myself -- the Porsche, she should have it." He said he had no regrets.
