A cross-country cat has survived after travelling 262 miles under a car bonnet.
Aslan curled up by the battery of a neighbour's parked car in Ipswich. Car owner Rob Hillier then went to visit relatives in Maesteg, Mid Glamorgan, unaware of the cat -- he'd had a purr-fect journey. Aslan was heard the next morning when Rob heard his cries.
According to The Sun he said: "There was not a scratch on him. We couldn't believe it."
Aslan is now back home with his owner.
We don't know what kind of car it was but presumably Hillier was used to the engine purring. Gives a whole new slant on a fur-lined hood...and maybe there'll be a new claws in next year's insurance policy.
