Fancy a short weekend treasure hunt in France? PistonHeads and tour organiser Dettaglio have teamed up again, this time to bring you a mini-Eurohoon.

Your destination and the route there will be a closely guarded secret. You will be split into teams and points will be awarded for each clue you get right that points towards your hotel.

Part of the trip is run as a treasure hunt -- your destination and the route there on the first day will be secret.

The trip is run as a three day event leaving on Friday 13 October and returning at your leisure on Sunday 15 October. All participants will arrive at our rendezvous in Kent on the Thursday evening (12 October). Following registration, there will be welcome drinks in a traditional Kent pub.

On Friday morning, you will be handed a welcome pack and the clues for your treasure hunt.

Upon arrival in Calais after your Eurotunnel crossing, the fun begins – zigzagging through 200 miles of French countryside, you will seek a series of clues that will lead you to your hotel. A test of ingenuity and skill, points will be awarded for the number of clues found and there will be prizes for the teams with the most points. Naturally, as we are in Champagne country, the prizes will include some excellent bubbly from one of the areas most famous producers.

With a rest day in Reims on Saturday, there will be plenty to do:

Visit one of the many Chateaux for lunch.
Visit Epernay, the centre of the Champagne industry.
Visit Veuve Cliquot for a tour of their World famous cellars.
Visit Moet & Chandon and see their impressive production facilities.
Join us on an extended drive through some of the superb countryside and roads on offer.

On Saturday evening we will enjoy a meal together in a local restaurant washed down with French wine and cold beer. On Sunday, return home at your leisure via Eurotunnel.
