Fancy spending some time fine-tuning your car? Then tuning specialist Torque Developments reckons it's the place to go.

Based in Thurrock, Essex, the company said that it's now offering its dynamometer system to enthusiasts for power runs, tuning and calibration. Available on an hourly, half day and full day basis, the system is also suited to manufacturers and race teams for calibration, verification and durability testing.

The company claimed to possess "one the best dyno facilities in the UK using the latest Rototest hub mounted dynamometers."

It said the system: "is the only hub mounted chassis dyno that actually measures torque, as opposed to calculating (or guessing) figures. For this reason, the Rototest is also the only hub mounted dyno that can be accurately calibrated, in part at least because it's directly bolted to the wheel hub, which eradicates the problem of tyre slip and the associated errors found with 'rolling' roads using either single or twin rollers."
